Cambridge Weekly Announcement for the week of May 20, 2019
We are finishing up our state testing this week. Thank you for your support with this and ensuring that your student gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.
We want to praise our students who are testing for working hard on these tests and trying their best.
Cambridge needs field day volunteers to run the stations on Friday, 6/7 from 8:30-11. We also need someone who can blow up 1,000 water balloons by June 6th. T
his will take a few hours. We need donations of water balloons (the kind that blow up in bunches & tie themselves). We also need otter pops and large car wash sponges.
If you can volunteer, please contact Mr. Leonard Perez by email at email@example.com and leave a contact phone number. He will call you back.
Volunteers may not bring small children. Donations may be dropped off at the school front office.
Hey everyone, come support the Vanden Robotics Team and have a fun Night Out With Robotics on Wed. May 22nd from 5:30-8:00 at the Nut Tree Carousel Plaza.
At this exciting fundraiser, you can participate in robot races, mazes, sumo competitions and even interact with a real airplane.
Additionally, there will be local vendors selling food and a silent auction where you can win fun prizes. For more information please pick up a flyer in our office.
We have a very important meeting for parents of English Language Learners. The DELAC meeting will be on Thursday morning at 8:30 am in the Cambridge school office.
Please look for the flyers that the students will bring home.
Thank you to our PTA and book fair chairs, Mrs. Brambley and Mrs. Dew for running our BOGO book fair again this year. It was a huge success.
Last Friday was the last day to shop at the book fair.
Our lost and found is completely overflowing. Please stop by and see if any of the items belong to you.
We will be donating the left over items on Thursday afternoon (5/23/19).
If you have not returned your pre-registration form for next year, please turn it in to the office as soon as possible. We are now only missing 46 forms.
Proof of residency with your name on it is also required. If you cannot provide a bill in your name, you must go to student services for an Affidavit of Residency.
This is the only way to guarantee a spot at Cambridge or in the district. The district office has a list of names and is aware that you will be stopping by.
We cannot pre-register your student or assign a teacher for next year without this. If your student is moving on to Golden West, this form still needs to be returned.
The majority of our 6th graders have turned in their updated shot record for 7th grade. Students cannot move on to middle school without getting the booster shot.
Our school nurse is still missing 10 shot records.
