Yo! I am the Student Support Specialist here at Scandia and I love working with our military kids! I was born in Germany and grew up an Air Force brat. I served in the Air Force Reserves and am also a military spouse. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have three kids and we have lived in Texas, England, Mississippi, and Italy. This is my fifth year as the Student Support Specialist, and I have the best job ever. I love interacting with students, helping them with the constant military transitions, and having fun. I want kids to come to school feeling safe, loved, and understood. I am truly grateful to work at Scandia and to be surrounded by so many amazing teachers, staff, and students.
