Hello Scandia! 

This 2023/2024 school year will be my fourth year teaching! I previously taught 6th and 5th grade here at Scandia Elementary. I was born in England, United Kingdom, and moved to California when I was seven. My husband is currently stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California. We love to travel and explore new places.

I attended Chico State University for both my bachelor's degree in 2018 and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2019. I am currently working on my master's and I will be done in October! I have student taught in Chico and Yuba City, California. I have worked on military bases worldwide with preschool and school-age children, including Anderson Air Force Base, Guam in 2017, USAG Schinnen, Netherlands in 2017/2018, and Naval Base Guam in 2018, through a program called Camp Adventure. Through this program, I created a range of art, science, and high and low-active activities. I am passionate about continuing to work with military children and families.

I believe every student is capable of learning, no matter where they are. I also believe that students, families, and teachers must work as a team to achieve the year's goals. I am so happy to be part of that team with you!
