We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on Site Council, Parent Teacher Student Association, District Committees (Strategic Planning, Budget Advisory, Equity, and the Superintendents Advisory Group).

Golden West Middle School students demonstrate the positive characteristics of being safe, kind, respectful and responsible.
As part of our Positive Behavior Interventions System, our staff reward students who demonstrate the Mustang Way character traits with Mustang Bucks, which can be used in our student store.
During the 2022-2023 school year, our students earned more than 2000 Mustang Bucks for demonstrating 4000 incidents of the Mustang Way character traits. Each Mustang Buck is worth 50 cents.
During the 2023-2024 school year our goal is to double the number of Positive Student Character Traits noticed and rewarded!
We are proud to announce that our school has been selected as a 2023 Purple Star School.
Purple Star schools welcome military-connected children and have staff and systems in place to help with their frequent transitions between schools.
