New Courses to help parents during the closure
Travis USD is working with two community-based organizations to provide support and training for parents during this time of school closure and COVID-19.
1.) A Better Way is offering a Parent and Caregiver Training on April 22, April 28 and April 30 (Spanish) called - Supporting Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing During COVID-19.
- The groups will be small and allow time for parents to talk and ask questions. Please see the attached flyer for details.
2.) Parents by Choice is offering a series of Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Webinars on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
- Webinars will include topics such as The Power of Positive Parenting, Raising Confident, Competent Children, and Raising Resilient Children. Anyone interested in gaining support, connecting with other parents & learning positive parenting strategies that can help us during all this family togetherness. Please see the attached flyer for details.

Travis Elementary administration and staff welcomed our students to school today with signs of appreciation as they were dropped off at school.
