The oldest of 2 children, I was raised among sheep and cattle on a ranch outside of the small farming community of Rio Vista. I am a Rio Vista High School graduate where I was an active member and VP of Latinos Unidos/Cultural Club. I earned a B.A. in Spanish and Minor in Education from U.C. Davis. After 7 years in Retail Management continued my goal of becoming an educator and last fall began my student teaching at Vanden High School where I was later hired as the Spanish 3 and Spanish 4/5 Teacher. I received my teaching credential from Brandman Univiersity and am now teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. I am excited and privileged to share my love for Spanish and the cultures that accompany it with all my students.
