What Is A Wellness Policy?

    • GOAL
      -       Nutrition education, physical activity & other school wellness activites

    • NUTRITION GUIDELINES
      -       For all foods available at each school campus during the school day

    • REIMBURSABLE SCHOOL MEALS
      -       The only food that shall be sold during breakfast and lunch periods is food sold as a full meal through a federal reimbursable meal program.

    • MEASURING PLAN
      -       Including designation of 1 or more persons at the district charged with operational responsitility for adherance and enforcement 

    • COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
      -       Parents, students, and representatives of the school food authority, the school board, schoool admistrators, and the public
