• Travis USD Adopts California Uniform Public Construction Cost Account Act [CUPCCAA]

Travis Unified School District has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act [CUPCCAA] and adheres to alternative bidding procedures pursuant to Public Contract Code sections 22000 through 22045.  Accordingly, when TUSD is seeking to perform public work projects by contract, we must follow:

    1. Public work projects of $60,000 or less may be performed by the employees of a public agency, by negotiated contract or by purchase order (PCC22032(a)).
    2. Public work projects of $200,000 or less may be let to contract by the informal procedures set forth in the Act (PCC22032(b)).
    3. Public work projects of more than $200,000 shall be let to contract by formal bidding procedures (PCC22032(c)).

Travis Unified School District invites contractors interested in bidding on any upcoming public works projects to complete and submit the required Contractor Registration Form in order to be placed on the District’s ‘Approved Contractor’s List.’

NOTE: This registration process is for the purpose of being notified of construction related bid opportunities according to your license classification. The registration process is NOT a prequalification process in order to perform work on TUSD sites.
