    Vanden High School World Languages Department Policies:

    1. A basic grading scale will be used (As 90-100%, Bs 80-89%, Cs 70-79%, Ds 60-69%, Fs 0-59%).  Students will receive points based on quality of work, effort, and improvement.  The final course grade will come from the following categories: 
    • 30% Chapter Tests
    • 20% Quizzes 
    • 20% Final 
    • 30% Assignments (classwork, homework, projects)
    1. Homework may be submitted one day late for half credit
    2. Quizzes may be retaken within seven (7) calendar days, for an averaged grade.
    3. No make up work for unexcused absences.
    4. No extra-credit (except for an occasional bonus word on vocab quizzes).
